ABOUT LEMURIAN LIGHTWORK

My name is Cassie Taylor Flowers. Lemurian LightWork was born from many years of helping others and even more years of self-discovery. After spending most of my professional life in the social work field, experiencing the loss of my father, and then journeying into the the business world, I found myself feeling lost. At my core, I have always known that I was here to help others, connect with others, in a way that goes beyond our surface façade. Whether it was aiding women in abusive relationships, children and families seeking better opportunities or teaching others new skills...I was here to serve. But, there was something that always felt just not quite right. I felt out of place. Like I didn't quite fit in or that I was watching everything around me through a telephoto lens. I ran from one state to another, one job to another and one relationship to another looking for something. Never quite whole. Never quite fulfilled. It wasn't until I finally began to cope with several issues that impacted me over the course of my life that I decided to break my own mold.

Enter Goddess Yoga International. This was my doorway. A light revealed a new path and I willingly said "yes." Goddess Yoga allowed me to turn inward, to stop running and truly embrace my divine femininity which I had been denying for so long. I had been living in the masculine...determined to be independent, always "on" and fostering the deep desire to care for others before myself. Through manifestation, movement and mediation I confronted self-limiting beliefs and started creating the life I wanted. I healed past experiences including sexual assault and the passing of my father. I released old patterns that kept me running in circles. I, finally, began charting my own course. Through Goddess Yoga I was introduced to so many ideas and tools that somehow felt familiar to me...like a portal to another life had opened and I was coming home. My desire to learn more was ignited and I delved head first into learning about Reiki, crystals, meditation, oracle cards, tarot, astrology and defining my own, deeply personal, connection to Spirit.

From hosting women's sisterhood circles in my living room, to embracing the Divinity that resides within all of us, to studying and becoming a Reiki Master and training new Reiki Masters for the last several years...I feel as though I have been born anew and I want to share it all with you. Yes, you. You found your way here for a reason.
