LEMURIA
Welcome Home
Lemuria is the original Motherland. Some call her Mu. A place where the first starseeds came to Earth and created a community in which all were equal. Lemuria was a place of a place of "living rocks, speaking trees and whispering oceans." Lemurians lived in love, from love. They evoked all of the elements, honored them and lived in harmony with the Earth, Sea, Sun and Moon. They lived by the Law of One. To them, this meant we are all One. Interconnected. To support, nourish and care for others meant supporting, nourishing and caring for themselves.
I've often been told, especially in recent years, that my view of the world (or rather the possibility of what we are capable of) is naive, simplistic and unrealistic. In fact, I started to doubt my own vision and truth in the wake of the turmoil and adversity we seem to be living in. But there's something in me, a deep-seeded belief, that it IS realistic. Like the Lemurians once lived among each other as equals and cared for one other, can't we do it again? Can't we see each other as connected, divine and with love in our hearts?
I believe I came here with a purpose. To be a conduit for love. To be a beacon of light, a lighthouse on the darkest nights, to others who may be lost at sea. To give love, illuminate love and reflect love even when it seems impossible.
I am a Lemurian.

LIGHTWORK
You may have never heard the term "Lightwork" before and that's ok...in fact, I had no idea what it was 3 years ago.
First, to dispel a myth. Lightworking is not all rainbows, fairy dust and unicorns. Lightworking is not about denying the darkness....not one bit. It's the opposite.
Lightworking is going deep into the depths of our shadows. It's about exploring our deepest fears, our limitations, so that we may find the lesson, the light, the ability to grow within the shadows. In the darkness, we simply work to find the light. The light is hope. The light is passion. The light is purpose. It's about accepting every piece of who we are with honesty, courage and finding our way to keep shine brightly from within and thrive no matter how dark it may appear.
When I was 20, I wanted to be a Domestic Violence counselor. I didn't know why but I felt it was my destiny. And at 21 I started in the field a naive young woman determined to help women and children survive this epidemic. I didn't know just how dark the darkness could get. But, I learned. Quickly. I also learned I was emboldened by the darkness. As dark and heinous as the perpetrators who abused, tormented and held hostage their victims were, I was determined to be light for the women and children I served. I spent years in the darkness with my clients and held their hand as long as they let me. In most cases, it was until they found their OWN light.
Being a light for others was one of the best things I've done in my life but to be a true "Lightworker" I had to explore my own shadows. I had to go to the depths of my darkness to explore where my pain, sadness, jealousy, frustration and prejudice comes from. It's not easy. But working through it, finding the root causes, and growing from this exploration is what lightworking is about. Because I know now that those shadow aspects of me exist and I'm no longer afraid to see them as a part of me, I can shine brighter. My light is true. My light isn't afraid of the darkness. The shadows allow my light to exist and make it stronger.
So, come to me with your shadows. With your darkness. Let me see you. Let my light find yours and set yourself free.
I am a Lightworker.

"Let nothing dim the light that shines within."
