Musings of a Gypsy Soul

This is my space. This is where I will lay myself bare and share my love affair with words.

I've been a "writer" since I was a young girl. Not of fairy tales but of adventure, journeys and feelings. My piles of journals have been my travel companions, my best girl friends, my mentors and most importantly, my mirrors. Within the body of my words I can express the many facets of my soul and see my own reflection in a way that would otherwise be impossible. I often speak/hear what I write in my head before the words ever land on paper...like they are messages being delivered from deep in my soul.....or somewhere else (more on that at a later date).

Similarly, I see life through a lens. I am the girl that's behind the photo. Rarely will you see a picture of me but I live for how I see life. Whether it's in the clouds, on the beach, in the forest or on a boat....I delight in the sense of sight. I am in love with what the world looks like when it's just me and nature. The innocence. The beauty. The masculine. And, the feminine. The spirit in every thing I see.

There's a lot changing, or about to, in my life. I can't spill ALL the beans but it's going to be epic.

My hope is that you join me on this journey.

That you see what I see.

That you see what I don't.

That you allow me to open myself to you in ways that I never have before.

And that maybe, just maybe, you get inspired by the magic in every day life.

Because I truly believe life is made up of magic. Magic that we can see, touch, smell, hear and taste. Magic that is graces our doorstep. Magic that we create in the tiniest of moments. As Meg Ryan says her gentle, breathy voice in Sleepless In Seattle...."magic."
